Terms of Service
Effective Date: May 14, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of schoolarchimedes.com and the tutoring, test prep, and proctoring services provided by Archimedes
School ("we," "us," "our"). By enrolling in a program or using our website, you agree to these Terms.
Who we are
Archimedes School is a K-12 tutoring and test prep center located at 7901 168th Ave NE, Suite 200, Redmond, WA 98052. You can reach us at
425-272-5966 or contact@schoolarchimedes.com.
Services
We provide in-person and online tutoring in mathematics, science, English, social sciences, programming, AI, robotics, and standardized test
preparation (SAT, ACT, AP, ISEE, SSAT). We also operate proctoring services for approved third-party exams. Specific program details, pricing, and
policies are described on the relevant pages of our website, including /tuition-fees and /tuition-policies.
Eligibility
Our programs serve K-12 students. Because most of our students are minors, a parent or legal guardian must enroll the student, agree to these Terms,
and provide payment information. By enrolling a student, the parent or guardian represents that they have the authority to do so.
Registration and enrollment
Some programs use third-party registration forms (Jotform and Google Forms). Submission of a registration form is a request to enroll. Enrollment
becomes final when we confirm your seat and tuition is paid in full. See /tuition-policies for full payment, scheduling, and rescheduling terms.
Tuition, fees, and refunds
Tuition, administrative fees, late payment fees, and refund terms are described on /tuition-policies and /tuition-fees. By enrolling, you agree to
those terms. The Archimedes 1500+ SAT Score Guarantee, if applicable to your student, is governed by its own terms on /sat-1500.
Acceptable use
You agree to use our website, classroom environment, and online tools respectfully. You may not:
- Disrupt classes, harass teachers or other students, or behave in ways that interfere with instruction.
- Record sessions without explicit written permission from Archimedes School.
- Misuse, redistribute, or commercially exploit our materials or curriculum.
- Use the website to violate any law or another person's rights.
We may, at our discretion, end any session or enrollment for conduct that violates these Terms or makes a safe learning environment impossible.
Online classes
Live online classes meet on Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Students are expected to attend on time and join from an environment suitable for learning.
Recording of sessions by students or parents requires our prior written consent.
Intellectual property
The curriculum, lesson materials, study guides, problem sets, and content we provide are the intellectual property of Archimedes School (or used
under license). They are for the personal educational use of the enrolled student. They may not be reproduced, distributed, or used commercially.
Student work that a student creates during a session belongs to the student. With permission, we may showcase anonymized examples of student work
for educational or promotional purposes.
No guarantee of academic outcomes
While our teachers work to help students improve, we cannot and do not guarantee any specific academic result, test score, or admission outcome,
except as expressly stated for the 1500+ SAT Score Guarantee on /sat-1500. Results depend on student effort, attendance, and many factors outside
our control.
Disclaimers
The website and our services are provided "as is." To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and
fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Archimedes School and its teachers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising
from your use of the website or our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the tuition paid for the program at issue.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute will be
resolved in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.
Changes
We may update these Terms as our programs and the law evolve. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled families. The "Effective Date" at
the top reflects the most recent revision.
