WHY MINA TEACHES

Mina wanted to be a teacher since she was in elementary school. Growing up in diverse communities, she saw the transformative power of education. Later working as a student teacher in Title I schools, Mina saw firsthand how access, representation, and compassion can shape a student’s future. Teaching gives her the chance to connect and challenge students during one of the most formative chapters of their journey.
