- Worked with incoming middle school students to maximize writing skills in preparation for the California SBAC test results.
- Experience working with international Chinese & Korean students overseas.
- Taught English Language Arts curriculum at Garden Grove Unified School District
- Created AP prep curriculum for the AP Human Geography test in both FRQ (free-response questions) & MCQ (multiple-choice questions) practice tests.
- Received a WE Service Award, concentrated in AP English Language and Composition by College Board. Mina's team focused on local and global immigration by utilizing nonprofit journalism to investigate migration
Why Mina teaches
Mina has always valued educators. Growing up in diverse communities, she saw the transformative power of education. Later working as a student teacher in Title I schools, Mina saw firsthand how access, representation, and compassion can shape a student’s future.
Fun fact about Mina
Mina is a member of the U.S National Taekwondo Association and is a first-degree black belt.
