Eligibility requirements

Three things to qualify.

We stand behind our structured and disciplined approach to SAT preparation. Students who meet the eligibility and participation requirements below qualify for the 1500+ Score Guarantee.

  1. 1

    Establish a 1350+ baseline

Earn a minimum 1350 on either an official SAT taken within the past 6 months, or a full-length Archimedes-administered SAT diagnostic exam.

  2. 2

    Diagnostic conditions

The Archimedes diagnostic must be taken in one sitting, under official SAT timing, with no retakes permitted.

  3. 3

    Baseline before the first session

The qualifying baseline score must be established before the first tutoring session. Only one baseline score may be used for eligibility.

Participation requirements

Stay eligible throughout the program.

The guarantee depends on completing the work, not just enrolling. Each requirement protects the integrity of the score commitment.

  • Attend all scheduled tutoring sessions
  • Complete all assigned homework on schedule
  • Complete six full-length practice SAT exams, each taken in one sitting under official SAT timing, finished before the first official SAT
  • Take the first official SAT within 30 days of completing the 12-week program
  • If a 1500 superscore is not achieved on the first official SAT, take a second official SAT within 90 days of program completion
How the guarantee is evaluated

Clear, written terms.

How the superscore is calculated

We use the highest Math and Evidence-Based Reading & Writing section scores across up to two official SAT administrations taken within 90 days of completing the program.

If the 1500 superscore is not achieved

If the student meets every program requirement and the 1500 superscore is not reached after the required official testing sequence, Archimedes refunds tuition minus the $259 SAT testing platform fee.

Non-refundable platform fee

The $259 SAT testing platform fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Tuition refund policy

Voluntary withdrawal is separate from the guarantee.

Families may request a refund within the first four weeks of the program. After this window, all tuition is non-refundable.

Refund amounts are calculated by deducting the cost of classes already attended and the $259 SAT testing platform fee, which is non-refundable under any circumstances.

This refund policy applies to voluntary withdrawals only. The 1500+ Score Guarantee is evaluated separately upon program completion.

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to contact@schoolarchimedes.com.

Additional notes

Fine print, in plain language.

  • The guarantee applies only to the 12-week SAT program.

  • Archimedes reserves the right to verify compliance with all program requirements.
