Teacher Naor
“Math is the language of the universe. So, the more equations you know, the more you can converse with the cosmos.”
– Neil deGrasse Tyson
NAOR'S EXPERIENCES
-
Naor currently works full-time for Boeing as a Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer
-
Naor has been tutoring at Archimedes for several years, teaching all kinds of math and physics classes and topics, often going over direct applications of the material in the “real world.”
-
Naor was a physics Teacher’s Assistant (TA) in college, teaching physics concepts and running physics labs for over 100 students during multiple lab sessions throughout the year
WHY NAOR TEACHES
Naor always had a knack for math and physics concepts, and has always been the go-to person when math-y topics/questions came up during his education. For more than three years during college, when big tests or finals came up, Naor would set up big study sessions with his friends to go over engineering and math coursework, leading the discussions due to his strong math foundation.
Naor has always enjoyed helping others better deal with the most unsettling and often confusing topics in math and physics, and hopes that by learning together, students may feel empowered to tackle more challenging problems, and perhaps find the same fascination in the world of numbers as Naor did.
FUN FACT ABOUT NAOR
Naor loves playing chess and even used to compete when he was younger: sometimes earning trophies and even some money!
