STEM Camp 1

grades 3 - 6

June 24 - 28

9:30am - 3:30pm

Archimedes inventions and not-so-simple machines

We will have a fist-hand encounter with works of one of the greatest inventors in the history: Archimedes. The days will be filled with fun learning and exciting hand-on activities: for a week our campers will turn into inventors and engineers, building not-so-simple machines and generating ideas on improving designs. We will learn about levers and density, defying gravity with machines and concentrating solar power, will build trebuchets and load lifters and – weather permitting - spend time in playing games in the nearby park.

grades 3 - 6

July 8 - 12

9:30 - 3:30 pm

Young Engineers

This week we will learn about engineering principles and spend days exploring ideas that allow engineering to build fascinating structures. With every day hands-on activities will include building models of bridges and famous buildings, plying games, watching movies and spending time outside in a nearby park.

We will have limited number of seats in order to comply with safety standards and the high quality in person experience - max 7 students/teacher.

Students with enthusiasm about learning will benefit the most from these camps.
