Join us for a week of highly engaging hands-on activities that encourage creativity, critical thinking and problem solving combined with explorations of mathematical concepts applied in art.

S - science, T - technology, E - engineering, A- art and M - math

Every day we will introduce a new STEAM concept to spark students interest for math, science and engineering. Building electric circuits, tracing lines of the magnetic field, constructing fractals, and creating models of molecules only start the list of the fun activities!

Students will have a lunch break and games everyday outdoors weather permitting. Please send lunch, snacks and water bottle with your student.

This summer our Inventor camp theme is Creative Board Game Design

Join us for an exciting multi-disciplinary STEAM camp where students get to design their own board games from scratch! In this camp, students will learn about creative thinking, math, logic, user experience and 3D printing to make their own board game. We will also help them submit their ideas for recognition and awards! At our last summer camp, 4 students went on to win national level invention awards. 

On the final day, students will play board games designed by each other and parents will be welcome to join in the fun game session. Finally, students will be able to take home their games for fun family nights, and endless bragging rights!  

Students will have a lunch break and games everyday outdoors weather permitting. Please send lunch, snacks and water bottle with your student.

FUNDAMENTALS for ALGEBRA 1

This camp is meant to prepare students for ALGEBRA 1 class by providing all building blocks essential for developing confidence in successfully learning mathematics.

Rather than the traditional approach of having students mimic routines, the main focus will emphasize genuine learning of the concepts and the beauty of logic.

Using a style of integrated mathematics special attention will be dedicated to: evolution of number sets, ways of representing numbers, relationships among numbers, meanings of operations and how they relate to one another, use of variables, polynomials and equations while looking for patterns.

FUNDAMENTALS for GEOMETRY

This one week long camp is meant to prepare students for a year-long journey in GEOMETRY class from September.
The main focus will be on constructions of geometric shapes and significant points. Students will also strengthen their vocabulary and understanding of shapes in both 2D and 3D space.

This will be a hands-on class with an extensive use of compasses, straightedges, and protractors. 

FUNDAMENTALS for ALGEBRA 2

grade 8+

This camp is meant to prepare students for ALGEBRA 2 class by reviewing main algebra concepts essential for successfully continuing learning algebra 2 material.

Rather than the traditional approach of having students mimic routines, the main focus will emphasize genuine learning of the concepts and the beauty of logic.

Using a style of integrated mathematics special attention will be dedicated to: solving linear,absolute value, exponental and qudratic equations and inequalities, transformations of functions, introduction to logarithams and linear algebra.

FUNDAMENTALS for MATH ANALYSIS

grade 9+

This camp is designed to prepare students for MATH ANALYSIS or PRE-CALCULUS class from September. The main focus will be on exploring all importans concepts for graphing quadratic, exponential, logarithmic, rational, and trigonometrics functions by exploring significant points and limits.

Students with enthusiasm about learning will benefit the most from these camps.
