We teach in person at our Redmond center and online to students nationwide. Online sessions use the same teachers, the same materials, and the same standard as in-person work. Pricing is the same in both settings and is listed in full on our tuition page, so you can see what a program costs before you commit.

과학 튜터링 교육 방식
모든 과학 튜터는 Biology, Chemistry, Physics 중 자신의 과목을 전문으로 하는 경험 많은 전문 튜터입니다. 다른 일 사이의 빈 시간에 수업하는 부업형 또는 플랫폼형 튜터가 아닙니다. 학생은 과목을 수년간 가르치고 막히는 지점을 아는 사람에게서 꾸준하고 깊이 있는 지도를 받습니다.
그 기초를 바탕으로 학생별 맞춤 커리큘럼을 만듭니다. 표준 강의계획서를 나눠 주고 모두에게 같은 속도로 따르게 하지 않습니다. 현재 과목, 어려운 주제, 학습 방식과 필요에 따라 계획을 달리합니다. 단원 시험 복습, 어려운 분기 이후 따라잡기, AP 시험 5점 목표 학생은 각각 다른 계획을 받습니다.
We teach for understanding rather than memorization. A formula a student can recall but not apply does not hold up on a hard exam question or in the next course. So we teach the why behind each idea, the cause and the mechanism, and we watch how each student reasons through a problem. 진행 방식
시작은 간단하며 학생의 학습 방식을 알아 갈수록 계획을 계속 조정합니다.
- 무료 30분 상담에서 학생의 현재 과목, 최근 성적, 목표를 이야기하고 Biology, Chemistry, Physics에서 현재 위치를 파악합니다.
- 개별 커리큘럼을 학생의 학교 과목 또는 관련 AP framework에 맞춰 만들고 앞으로 나아가게 할 개념에 집중합니다.
- 과목 전담 튜터를 배정합니다. 학생은 해당 과목 전문 튜터와 세션마다 꾸준히 공부합니다.
- 계속 조정합니다. 학생이 문제를 생각하는 방식을 살피고 효과적인 방법은 강화하며 그렇지 않은 방법은 다시 설계합니다.
가르치는 과학 과목과 개념
We scope our science tutoring to the high school courses below and teach them in real depth. For students in Honors or AP sections, we cover AP-aligned units alongside the coursework so school grades and exam preparation move together rather than competing for time.
Biology, Honors Biology, and AP Biology. We cover cell biology, genetics, evolution, ecology, and human anatomy and physiology, with AP-aligned depth for students heading into the AP Biology exam.
Chemistry, Honors Chemistry, and AP Chemistry. We cover atomic structure and the periodic table, chemical bonding, stoichiometry and the mole, gases, thermochemistry, equilibrium, and acids and bases, again with AP-aligned depth for students who need it.
Physics and AP Physics. We work through kinematics and motion, Newton's laws, forces and free-body diagrams, work and energy, momentum and collisions, and torque and rotational motion, with AP-aligned problem sets for students heading into the exam.
AP Environmental Science. We cover ecosystems and biodiversity, populations, energy and natural resources, pollution, and global change, aligned to the AP framework.

- Physics: kinematics, Newton's laws, forces, energy, momentum, rotational motion

Our center is in Redmond, and we serve students across the Eastside, including Bellevue, Kirkland, Sammamish, Woodinville, and Bothell, along with families throughout the Lake Washington School District. For everyone else, we teach online at the same standard, with the same dedicated tutor your student would have in person.
