2012년부터 Eastside 대면 수업과 온라인 수업을 제공해 왔습니다. 전국의 가정이 같은 경험 많은 튜터와 맞춤형 커리큘럼을 온라인으로 이용할 수 있습니다.
Archimedes 온라인 수업의 차이점
온라인 수업도 대면 수업과 같은 세 가지 약속에서 시작합니다. 모든 학생은 고득점 대학생이나 부업형 플랫폼 튜터가 아닌 경험 많은 전문 튜터에게 배웁니다. 모두에게 같은 패키지 대본이 아닌 학생별 맞춤 커리큘럼을 제공하고, 이미 이해한 내용, 막힌 부분, 가장 잘 배우는 방식에 맞춰 계획을 세웁니다.
그다음 개념 중심으로 가르칩니다. 암기나 시험 요령이 아니라 내용이 작동하는 이유에 집중합니다. 이해는 압박 속에서도 유지되고 다음 과목으로 이어지기 때문입니다. 교사는 학생의 사고 방식을 관찰해 잘 맞는 방법은 강화하고 더 적합한 방법을 소개합니다. 같은 공간에 있을 필요 없이 Redmond에서 책상 맞은편에 앉아 가르치듯 온라인에서도 세심하게 진행합니다.
온라인 튜터링 진행 방식
과정은 간단하며 대면 학생에게 사용하는 방식과 같습니다.
- 무료 30분 상담에서 학생의 목표, 현재 수준, 필요한 도움을 파악합니다.
- 학생의 사고 방식을 이해하고 가장 중요한 빈틈과 목표를 중심으로 맞춤 계획을 만듭니다.
- 학생은 매주 같은 교사와 실시간 1:1 세션을 진행합니다.
- 진행 상황을 학부모님께 알려 드리므로 학생의 상태와 다음 학습 내용을 항상 확인할 수 있습니다.
온라인 경험을 구체적으로 보여 드립니다
Archimedes 온라인 튜터링은 대면 수업을 축소한 버전이 아닙니다. 동일한 교사가 같은 방식과 기준으로 가르칩니다. Redmond에서 학생 곁에 앉을 교사가 화면에 나타나 동일한 자료와 맞춤 커리큘럼을 사용합니다.
Zoom 또는 Microsoft Teams로 실시간 1:1 세션을 진행합니다. 학생과 교사는 실시간으로 함께 문제를 풀고, 교사는 풀이를 보며 질문하고 즉시 조정합니다. 녹화 강의나 자기 주도형 앱이 아닌 대화형 실습 수업입니다.
Because it runs over live video, the program reaches families well beyond the Eastside. We teach students nationwide, and an online student in another state gets the same experience as a student down the road in Bellevue. Your student also keeps the same teacher every session. That continuity matters: one consistent relationship, a teacher who remembers what your student struggled with last week and builds on it, with no rotating roster of instructors.
온라인으로 가르치는 과목
We offer online math tutoring for grades 5–12, from arithmetic foundations and Algebra through Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Statistics. Science, coding, AI and robotics, English, and social science are also available online. The depth on each subject lives on its own page, so this page stays focused on how online learning actually works rather than re-listing every topic.
Whatever subject brings your family to us, the format is the same: an experienced tutor, a plan built for your student, and live one-on-one sessions over video.
온라인 시험 대비
All of our test prep is available online as well. We prepare students for the SAT, the ACT, AP exams, the ISEE, and the SSAT, each on its own dedicated page where you can read how that program is structured.
Online test prep uses the same personalized approach, diagnostic testing, and structured curriculum as our in-person sessions in Redmond. For SAT students, qualifying students enrolled in our 12-week SAT program may also be eligible for the Archimedes 1500+ SAT Score Guarantee. That guarantee applies only to the 12-week SAT program and its requirements; it is not a general promise across other subjects or tests.

The reason online works at Archimedes is the same reason in-person works: who is teaching. Every one of our tutors is an experienced, professional tutor, not a part-time gig worker. The format you choose does not change the substance of what your student gets. The same experienced tutors and the same customized approach apply whether your student meets us at our Redmond center or over live video from anywhere in the country.
